Dates

I thought it might be nice to get a collection of date ideas. What are some of the best ideas that you've had, or best dates that you've been on?

  1. Assuming the girl is into you- almost anything is a great date, in my opinion. Any time spent together is wonderful. But, if you are trying to impress someone...hmmm... I have not been on any amazing dates off the top of my head. But all of my dates are good dates. I just think as long as you put a little bit of thought into it and treat her right- then it will be great.

  2. Last year this girl called me up and asked me out on a date. We went up to Salt Lake, had some pizza and this funky pizza place and then went ice skating in the park. Now... I am not good at ice skating and definitely took my fair share of spills, but it was probably the most fun I have ever had on a date.

  3. And... I agree with what 'bunkkiness' said above... when I am interested in a girl, it doesn't matter what we do, I have a good time.

  4. True, the people make the biggest difference. With the right person you could enjoy yourself thoroughly on a terrible day when everything goes wrong, but there are still some dates that are better than others for getting to know people.

  5. I think the best first dates are those in a more social atmosphere where you can get to know each other. Doesn't really matter so much what you're doing as long as you like the other person, but it's best if you know you're not doing some activity that one or both of you greatly dislike.

  6. Hmm :) I like food . . . especially fresh homemade food since I usually eat leftovers LOL, so getting to know your date over a homemade meal works out great! Games and any activities are always fun too. Don't feel obligated to spend a lot of money. Girls usually feel better when they know the guys aren't spending all their money on them.
