Flirting <3

What is considered flirting to a guy (or to a girl)? How do you differenciate between flirting and just being nice/friendly?

Choice of Fashion

If you've ever heard the phrase "chasing a skirt," you may have just considered it a saying left over from past generations and older times; however, there is a lot of truth to it. Most guys find skirts, dresses, and other flattering clothes which are indicative of femininity and reserved solely for women to be very attractive. Still, most women prefer to wear a pair of jeans and a t-shirt whenever possible. I'm not writing to criticize or encourage change, but merely to gain understanding. I would think that if were a girl and I wanted to date more or attract more guys and all I had to do was change my style, that I would quickly make the change; yet, the general consensus and preference among women remains.
Why is this? Why do girls detest wearing skirts or dresses when they aren't required by the occasion? Is it a matter of comfort, an issue of trying to fit in more, or perhaps of a statement of modernism? What is the source of such common opinions?

Girls like Guys

This is based on a previous question thread, and I do want to know so please be brutally honest here. Why do girls like and need guys? What is it that men have that women need and like so much?

Guys

Okay guys, so how much flirting should a girl do to get your attention, let you know she is intersted, and yet not seem creepy stalkerish? (I know it will vary, just give me a guesstimate.) How much flirting is too much? When should she know her signal has been sent and now she needs to back off?

Making Guys Feel Special

(Going off of a comment from a different post) Ok guys, based on your own experiences or other's experiences, what are some things that we women can do to make men feel special? And be specific.

Dates

I thought it might be nice to get a collection of date ideas. What are some of the best ideas that you've had, or best dates that you've been on?

Just Say It!

Why do guys find it soo hard to just come out and say what they mean? Why do they have to be all avoidy and bounce around the question?

Men's Fashion Guide

What looks are hot, ladies? Let us know how to dress and cut our hair! After all, it's the girl's opinions that are most important in this area!

Poll

Do you think it is better to die single (and hopefully happy, because it is a choice to be happy!) or "settle"?
I have many opinions on this. I will refrain from sharing currently. Think it through. :)

Guys

Okay guys, so what do you look for in a girl? Both personality and looks-wise.

Dating (bait & switch?)

Why do girls sometimes act really flirt, interested, and agree to go out on a date with you, then act like they don't want to be there the entire duration of the date, starting the second you arrive at their door?

Question

So lets say a girl named Jane likes a boy named Bob. How many hints must Jane drop before she gives up and moves on? Bob may be interested back, but if he's not taking any of the hints does that mean A) Jane isn't obvious enough (which leads us to how obvious is too obvious), B) He's shy too and isn't sure what to do, C) She's being creepy and needs to stop dropping hints or D) None of the above.

There needs to be a class on the opposite gender. Who needs to study math when there are boys on the loose?! (I say this only half in jest :P)

Initial Attraction

One of the more difficult obstacles men face (or don't face, for those who just decide not to worry about it) is knowing what women find attractive. What kind of things catch your eye as far as guys are concerned?

Roles

Men's and women's roles have changed drastically in society over the past several generations. Series of women's revolutions have changed perceptions about how women ought to be treated and how they should act. Consequently, many people are unsure about dating etiquette. Some remain very traditional in their ideas about courtship and relationships, others have redefined dating entirely. I have been told by several girls that men should always take the initiative in every aspect of the relation, other girls have asked me out on dates. Some girls refuse to leave the car until the door is opened for them. Other girls have specifically asked me not to touch their doors. Many people tend to fall somewhere in between.

So, what are men's and women's responsibilities and roles in relationships/dating in your opinions? What do the women really expect from the men?

Guys Like Girls

Okay, here's my question....so I know why girls like and need guys (because I'm a girl)....but why do guys need girls? What is it that women have that men need and like so much (other than the physical stuff I mean)?
